"Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are” - Brené Brown
My why:
Art has been a constant-
A way to express, to process, to make sense of things when words don’t fit. Painting on an easel, on the sidewalk as a kid. Hand-building and wheel pottery- then and now. It’s something I continue to return to as a way to express myself and feel more grounded.
Lifeguarding. Being a student and a life long learner. Local community art centers. Spaces that taught me how to be present for others and for myself. Places that showed me the importance of trust, patience, acceptance, and being understood.
Over time, it all came together…
Creativity and care, Expression and empathy.
That’s what led me here.

Art Therapist Provisional (QTT)
My work is rooted in deep respect for your lived experience, your perspective, and your natural pace. I believe therapy begins with building a sense of safety in the space and in the therapeutic relationship. For some people, safety takes time, and trust is something we work toward together. I focus on creating a supportive environment where you can show up as you are, moving at a pace that feels right for you. There is no expectation to be anything other than yourself.
My approach is collaborative and flexible. I draw from person-centered, existential, and mindfulness-based approaches, as well as CBT-informed practices. I view emotions as meaningful and necessary, even when they feel overwhelming or difficult to understand. Rather than trying to fix or rush past them, we take time to explore what they might be communicating. Through this process, we can begin to notice patterns, deepen self-understanding, and make sense of your experiences in a way that feels authentic to you.

I believe a lot can show up through the process of artmaking. The materials we are drawn to, the way we use them, and the experience of creating itself. Art can become a space for exploration, reflection, and understanding- a bridge between internal experiences and making sense of them. Together, we work to discover what supports you best and develop an approach that aligns with your goals, your values, and your unique way of being in the world.
