Description: This group offers a supportive space for grieving the loss of a significant family member while fostering emotional literacy, creative expression, and meaning-making to aid in the coping process.
Ages: 12-17
Participants: 5-7 *Minimum 4
Location: Creative Forces Therapy
Frequency: Weekly for 8 weeks | Starting June 24 - Ends August 12 | Wednesday 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Attendance: Weekly commitment, closed group.
Duration: 1 hour
Overall Goals:
To provide and receive peer support with grieving the death of a significant family member.
Learn more about the grieving process and develop emotional literacy skills related to coping, identifying, and communicating emergent emotions.
Creative self-expression and making meaning.
